Local Outreach
“I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” Matt 25:40
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Mark 10:42-45
In the dictionary we find that benevolence means a “desire to do good to others; goodwill; charitableness” – this is our desire.
This ministry is specifically focused on providing support to those less fortunate in our surrounding area and bringing services to our community that provide the opportunity to show Christ’s love in action.
While the services provided by the Community Outreach Ministry are available to church members, the Community Outreach Ministry is primarily an externally-focused ministry team, i.e., ministry to people outside of NWCC.
The services offered are birthed out of the Biblical understanding that we are to meet the basic needs of people and to share the love and mercy of Jesus.
