Promiseland Kids Ministry

Each weekend your children can be a part of an exciting and active environment filled with songs, activities, and games that teach Godly values at an age-appropriate level. Our Promiseland classes and Kids Worship Program meet at the same time as adult services, and are designed for all children from birth through 5th Grade. So while you are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship of Northwest Christian Church, your children are experiencing it as well.

Classroom activities begin at 9:00 AM each Sunday and are followed at 10:30 by a “Kid Style” worship service…supported by the NWCC teen worship band. All of this occurs in an action–packed hour that’s sure to have your kids excited to return the next week!

First time to Northwest Christian Church?

No worries, we’ll take great care of your kids at our First Time Guest Check-In located just across from the Promiseland check-in station. Our Guest Services Team will help you locate the Promiseland Kids Ministry area so you can get your children checked in and to the right location. You can enjoy a great worship service knowing your children are having a blast!

Safety & Security

We take your child's safety very seriously. Trained staff and computerized technology is in place to ensure your child is safe and accounted for at all times.

ID BADGES are computer generated and issued to both children and parents when you drop your child off at the Promiseland Children’s Ministry. These coded badges are used in all areas to match children with their parents. Visitors should allow a little extra time before the services in order to obtain temporary arm bands.

SILENT PAGING is used to notify parents if their child needs attention during a service. The ID code issued to your child (each parent is also issued a matching badge) is flashed on the screen to notify parents.

BACKGROUND CHECKS are performed on all NWCC employees and volunteers working in the children’s ministry to insure the integrity of everyone working with your kids.

PICK UP your child at the same place you dropped him/her off. For obvious safety reasons, you will need to show your ID badge to the teacher prior to retrieving your child. To expedite this process, please have your badge ready.

Kellie Dailey - Director of Children's Ministries

If you ask Kellie what prepared her for her position as Director of Children’s Ministries she’ll tell you it was growing up a preacher’s kid and her experience; not just her college degrees.  “I chose this career because I really felt that the Lord was urging me to do it.  He orchestrated the position and my availability so that all the pieces fell together perfectly.  Sometimes I feel like I’m not equipped … but then I remember God wants me here.”

Kellie gets great satisfaction watching kids grow in the Lord.  “I want Christ to have an impact on who they are and the decisions they make.”  She deeply believes that kids should learn about the Lord’s love early if it is going to “stick out there in the real world”.  Meeting new kids who go on to become part of the NWCC family is a true joy for Kellie.  “We want to provide opportunities for families to have fun together, learn together, & become connected with other families who are a part of the life of this church.  We strive to run a quality program that continues to grow and reach kids for Christ.”

She’ll be the first one to say that she doesn’t do this work alone. “The Promiseland Kid’s ministry is all about our 100+ volunteers, and NWCC has some of the absolute best!”  Kellie says these dedicated men and women help keep her organized so she can join in the fun.

Kellie is married to NWCC elder, Jason Dailey, and they have two children.
