Young Adult Ministry
The Young Adult Ministry is for those in their 20’s, including college students, who desire a place to fellowship, serve, and learn in ways relevant to their generation. There are a number of ways to get involved with the young adults here at NWCC. Here are a few of them:
A small group that meets every Wednesday night beginning at 7pm in the upstairs lounge area for fellowship, prayer, and a variety of lesson topics filled with lively discussion. Occasionally this group will meet off-campus for different service and fellowship activities. “…he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:27-28)
This is a young adult mixer held about once every few months. Each one has a different theme like a coffee house, Hawaiian luau, etc. and usually includes lots of food, games, giveaways, and live music.
The Crash
On the first Sunday of each month, the young adults go out to lunch together for some fellowship after the second worship service.
Every Fall the young adults get away from it all for a few days for a retreat in the wilderness. This is a great time to grow closer to one another and spend some time in solitude with God. It’s a ton of fun and you will return refreshed and encouraged.
And more
Our young adult group likes to have fun and likes to serve so each month there are at least a few opportunities to get together for a fun activity and also times to serve our community in different ways.
